In 1901, Vispring invented pocket springs, sewn into individual bags of quality cotton.
Our springs are made of the highest quality vanadium steel, with a unique selection of 58 different types of springs with four different tensions – soft, medium, firm and extra firm.
Finally, each spring is placed inside a natural cotton calico bag.

Manual lace
Our craftsmen hand-fit the springs and arrange them in a honeycomb pattern to maximize the support offered by each of our custom mattresses.
Because they are not glued together, the pocket springs function independently, providing gentle support from head to toe during sleep.

Side seams
It takes artisans many years of work to master this complex technique that gives the mattress perfect end-to-end support while enhancing its longevity.
Each bed is composed of up to six rows of side seams, which use 100% natural twine and provide thousands of points of contact between the edge of the mattress and each pocket spring.

Introduction
of the filler
Vispring uses extremely generous amounts of natural fillings that provide comfort and support.
Our craftsmen hand-comb each specific combination of fillings, providing resilience and plushness, allowing air to circulate freely so the bed can breathe.
A conventional Vispring mattress contains the wool of at least four full fleeces, a quantity unmatched by any of our competitors.

Edge tapes
Our master craftsmen take extreme care to close the panels and edges of the mattress without leaving any excess fabric.
The colored ribbons used to close the edges of the mattress are thin but resistant and complete the beautiful and homogeneous finish of the mattress.

Manual of capitonné
The dimensions of the quilting are carefully sized to create a voluptuously contoured surface – a Vispring characteristic – without compromising comfort.
The evenly distributed capitones hold the padding in place without the need for the metal rods used in less luxurious beds.

Manufacture
of the couch
Vispring uses slow-growing Scandinavian hardwoods and softwoods to build its wooden structures, without chipboard or medium density fiberboard (MDF).
All the woods used are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified, guaranteeing their sustainability and traceability.
The Vispring divan, perfectly padded with springs, upholstered and with full support from one end to the other, perfectly completes the made-to-measure mattress of your choice.
